DOOMORTALIS was formed in Irapuato, México in 2010 by ex members of real SUPPLICIUM and NECROCCULTUS.
DOOMORTALIS‘s first studio rehearsal demo tape, “The Unknow Somber Magnetism”, 2013 was unleashed through the German label Bloodmonk Rite Productions with five tracks, and some months later the Mexican label Embrace My Funeral Records released it on CD version.
Since then, the band has gained a strong following in the Mexican underground scene and continued writing new material during three years. This proccess was finished on late 2016, and in conspiracy with Lord Brave (AGONY LORDS, OMINOUS CRUCIFIX and MAJESTIC DOWNFALL) the band recorded their debut album at BraveSound Studio.
The recoding process was finished on late June and the debut album, entitled “Splendor… Then Glominess”, will be released on late November this year via Chaos Records.
“Splendor… Then Glominess” is a dark and gloomy journey of doom metal strongly influenced by death metal elements. Expect nothing more than extreme music in the old vein of Mexico’s 90’s underground scene.
